Special Arrival

Earlier today I received a package that I knew was coming, but it still managed to make my day.  I placed an order with Sephora for the Naked 2 palette along with some other goodies.  I'm super late on the bandwagon with the Naked 2 palette - but it still exceeded my expectations!

Let's all bask in the glory for a moment -



I went back and forth between the original Naked Palette and this beauty, but eventually I ended up with this one since the colors just seemed right. 



I like that most of them have a slight shimmer effect, and I know I will get use out of the black to smudge up my eyeliner and blend it out.  I bought the palette here.   I could spend all day trying different combos for these colors, and I probably will. 

I waited on this purchase until there was a sale going on, and since Sephora offers a great loyalty program my patience paid off.  The offering was $15 off of a purchase of $25 or more.  The Naked 2 palette would ship for free, and I think that was part of a gift promo.  Couple that with the coupon for a free gift during my birthday month, and it would have been a great deal in and of itself.  But it gets even better...

I checked Retailmenot to see if there were any other active promos and found a gift bag full of samplers.  This is the loot -
